I was hesitant to try my hand at Swagbucks (aka SB), but since I have an email I dedicate for spam shopping I thought I would give it a shot.
I signed up for the website, which you can do here if you are not a member already, and started roaming around finding things to click on and do. I found surveys (most of which I didn't qualify for, but SB will give you 1 point per non-qualified survey up to 5 points anyway), and links to watch videos/read articles for points.
One of the favorites is known as Jun, or Laptop guy. You can earn 2 SB for each time you complete his activities. They normally consist of going through 5-10 pages that have a mandatory timer of staring at them for 10-20 seconds each. There are also a couple that only have 1 page you need to stay on for a minute before claiming your reward.
On the SB facebook page, twitter, and blog they give out codes that you can enter on the main page of Swagbucks for free ones!
In 4 days I managed to get $10 in Amazon gift cards, and I'm just getting started. Many have earned hundreds of dollars and paid for all of their Christmas shopping with these rewards.
Join up and see how much you can earn!

Webb Direct 2U: Review
Naomi's preschool graduation is coming up, and the letter says that the girls need to wear white or pastel colored dresses. She has a yellow dress, but I love buying her clothes. We searched Amazon for a white dress she could wear (although she really wanted a pink one).
We found this gorgeous three-tiered chiffon dress, and decided it was the one. It was sold through Amazon from a place called Webb Direct 2U, which is a children's specialty shop located in New Mexico.

We don't want to risk the possibility of an exchange not making it here in time, so I'm just going to use my Super Mom skills and sew it up real quick. It's not all that noticeable with the chiffon hanging over it unless you're looking hard at the area.
My only other complaint is that the shipping was $8.95, and it was sent through USPS. The package was small and lightweight. I don't understand how it can cost that much having shipped many small packages myself.
On that note, I do really love this dress. It is the perfect size, and it's going to look great with her silver sparkly shoes (another blog later to come as I ordered a size too small). She will definitely look like a princess that night, which she should because next year she's off to Kindergarten!

We had her try it on to make sure it fit, and she looks like a princess! It is also available in black, a turquoise, and a light pink. I inspected it after taking it out of the package, and I did find a small hole located in the back of the dress.

Who Doesn't Love Cash-back?!
I haven't posted in a while, but thought I would share this! I was always skeptical of the Ebates.com commercials, but they are legit. I purchased some of the kids summer clothes from Children's Place after clicking the store through the ebates site.
Now, they sent my first check early which is great, but my cash back at the time was just under $3. We laughed it off, but I do plan on using it more!
There is currently a promotion in which they will send a $10 gift card to a store that you choose (out of their list of available ones), I chose Walmart, after you've spent $25 on merchandise through the links on their site. You can also refer friends and when they sign up/spend $25 over the next calendar year through the ebates links, they will put $5 in your account! If you have 3 friends do this, they will give you $30 too!!
I had a problem with a couple of my cash-backs not showing up after a week or two, so I copied my confirmation emails and pasted them into a customer service email. It took no time at all for them to put the money in my account. If you haven't done so, check it out! Ebates.com is a nice way to shop, even if it requires a few extra clicks to get to your destination.
Hugs and cookies!
